Google's Digital Footprint Exhibit is an immerse presentation of a brand's digital impact from a multitude of platforms. From news, to the brand's website, to YouTube search results, to its social media presence, and so on. The exhibit has been very successful and has positioned Google as a digital thought leader, allowing its team to deliver powerful executive summit sessions centered around this exhibit.
With its success, Google has decided to expand the exhibit beyond their Mountain View location to other PartnerPlexes in Sao Paulo, Tokyo, and Dublin. However, before they could do so some major issues needed to be addressed with the exhibit such as outdated code, a lack of presentation flexibility, a lack of support for diversity of hardware platforms - just to mention a few.
Google tasked Practice with the challenge of creating a flexible and responsive module-based layout that would allow for the adding and removing of modules for a multitude of future locations with varying physical arrangements and hardware, all while adhering to Google’s Material Design standards.
